These are also made with safer types of plastic. They are harder to clean, but if your baby is suffering from gas pain, you won't mind the extra work. No matter what type or brand of plastic baby bottles you buy, the most important thing is to wash them correctly. Get all of the grooves around where the ring attaches to the bottle, and make sure the nipples are scrubbed. If you get a hard to clean type, make sure you spend the extra time to clean them correctly so old milk does not remain there to grow mold. You can sterilize your bottles once a week if you wish with easy to use bags that you can find in most stores that sell bottles and breast pump accessories.
